Playing its fourth game in as many days, sixth-seeded Richmond is on its way to the Big Dance after upsetting top-seeded Davidson in the Atlantic 10 Tournament. These NCAA berths mean so much not only to the coaches and players, but their families as well. As evidenced by a shot of Chris Mooney’s family captured by CBS Sports.
“The Mooney family is absolutely overjoyed to be going dancing,” the network tweeted.

Chris Mooney and 23-12 Richmond were able to steal the bid from the Wildcats to make their first NCAA Tournament appearance in a decade. With their win, four teams will now represent the state of Virginia in March Madness. The Spiders, Longwood, Norfolk State and Virginia Tech.
It as an amazing win for Richmond to cap off what’s been an incredible run this season. But it’s not over. You never know what can happen when the tourney kicks off.
