On Saturday, multiple reports indicated that starting quarterback Jalen Hurts removed “QB for Philadelphia Eagles” from his bio on Twitter.
This supposed development had many fans and analysts around the league in a frenzy, wondering if the Philly organization could be moving on from their third-year signal caller. More specifically, people were wondering if the move could be a potential trade deal for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Several teams have emerged as reported suitors for Watson, but the Eagles have not yet been added to that list.
On Friday, Watson was cleared of all criminal charges stemming from a police investigation into more than 20 allegations of sexual misconduct and assault over the past year. With this hearing now in the rearview, several teams have been reported as interested in acquiring the three-time Pro Bowler.
Hurts, a Houston native, just finished his second season with the Eagles organization. In his first full season as a starter in 2022, the former second-round draft pick notched an 8-7 record behind 3,144 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions through the air, and 784 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground.Look: NFL Reporter Denies Rumor About Eagles QB Jalen Hurts
