With Elon Musk reportedly having come to an agreement to buy Twitter, social media star Paige Spiranac has only one request for the 50-year-old businessman.
It’s a popular one as well, something that plenty of Twitter users have asked for from the powers that be over the years. Spiranac wants the ability to make changes to tweets after you send them out.
“Hey Elon, can we get an edit button?” she tweeted Monday afternoon.

Spiranac might get her wish. Twitter had said recently it was working on an edit button, and Musk has said in the past he thinks the app should have one.
Of course, there are issues that could pop up if Twitter does add an edit button, such as people changing what they wrote after their original tweet has already been widely disseminated. But it does seem like it is a matter of when, not if, such a function is implemented.
We know Paige Spiranac will approve of it when it happens.
