It’s NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal’s 50th birthday today and you’d better believe that the Hall of Fame center is getting some incredible gifts to mark the occasion.
This past Friday, Shaq showed off a special gift that his friends from Swaggpack Shaq, Atlanta Street Xecs and Padgett Motor Sports. It was a brand new car. But not just any new car: It was a customized Dodge Charger Hellcat.
The Charger Hellcat is an 800 horsepower muscle car that ranks among the most powerful in American manufacturing. Shaq’s version features a custom “Diesel Dog Mafia” livery with a blood-splatter design. The doors are also special with Lamborghini-style scissor doors rather than the usual sedan doors.
But of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Shaq post without a dig at his NBA on TNT co-host Charles Barkley. He said that getting the car made him feel like Barkley “eating a piece of [chocolate] cake.”
“best birthday ever thanks to @swaggpack_shaq and the rest of @atlanta_street_xecs and @padgettmotorsports for getting me my brand new dodge hellcat charger. best car club ever. love you guys thanks . i feel like charles barkley eating a piece of choclate cake,” Shaq wrote on Instagram.
