The NBA on TNT crew is well known for giving each other a tough time.
Before the Wednesday night’s pregame coverage of a matchup between the No. 2 Celtics and No. 7 Nets, Kenny “The Jet” Smith poked fun a Shaquille O’Neal for showing up to set late.
“You need to show up on time!” Smith said.
“First of all, we started at 6:30 and I was in here at 6:29. Technically I wasn’t late,” Shaq responded. “Second of all, if you try to be funny on TV again, I’m gonna put these paws on you.”

On time or not, the whole TNT crew is ready to analyze one of the most intriguing first-round series in this year’s postseason field.
In Game 1, Celtics star Jayson Tatum handed the Nets a 1-0 deficit with a game-winning layup at the buzzer. Tonight, Brooklyn will look to bounce back and knot the series back up at 1-1 before heading back to New York later this week.
If Game 1 is any indication, we should be in for another exciting contest this evening.
