MLB home run king Barry Bonds still enjoys attending San Francisco Giants games more than a decade after retiring. But a photo taken of Bonds from a recent game has some people doing a double-take.
At a recent Giants game, Bonds took a picture alongside Grammy nominated singer Brian McKnight. But fans were stunned to see that McKnight – known for singing in falsetto – towered over Bonds.
“Hold up….Brian [McKnight] towers over Barry Bonds??? I’m going to have to reconsider those love ballads knowing a linebacker was singing them,” one Twitter user wrote.
Barry Bonds is not a small man by any means. He’s 6-foot-1 and still has the physique of an athlete despite being in his late-50s.
But McKnight – only five years Bonds’ junior – is not only taller, he seems better built as well. Fans already think that he looks like a linebacker:

“WHY IS BRIAN MCKNIGHT TWICE THE SIZE OF BARRY BONDS THIS IS F-,” one fan wrote.
Others suggested that McKnight looked like NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor:
“When did Brian McNight become Lawrence Taylor?!” one fan replied.
“I thought that was Lawrence Taylor,” wrote another.
With 16 Grammy nominations, Brian McKnight has the third-most nominations without a Grammy win. But after seeing this photo, McKnight must be the most swole Grammy nominee without a win.
