The Washington Commanders released their 2022 schedule Thursday night, and it features some intriguing matchups.
The Commanders open the 2022 season home at FedEx Field for the third consecutive season with the Jacksonville Jaguars coming to town. Jacksonville went 3-14 last season and is led by former Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson.
Washington’s 2022 schedule features two prime-time games, one on Thursday night in Week 6 vs. the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field. In Week 10, the Commanders travel to Philadelphia for Monday Night Football in quarterback Carson Wentz’s return to the city where he played the first five seasons of his career.
The Commanders face Wentz’s 2021 team, the Indianapolis Colts, in Week 8 at Lucas Oil Stadium for a Sunday evening kickoff.
