Of all the high-risk and downright dangerous sports out there, few inspire more terror in people than the running of the bulls. With one viral clip, the rest of the world probably understands why.
On Sunday, social media users found a video from a recent bull running event where one of the runners manages to juke a bull at the wall. His relief is short-lived, as another giant bull smashes right into him, blasting him into the ground.
Thankfully, the bull lets up before trotting away. The man is able to get up and presumably goes over the safety wall, though it’s not clear from the video.
Just about everyone who’s seen the video immediately that they would never do anything like that. But there were also some pretty hilarious reactions to it.

The NFL player collision references were particularly on-point:
Great angle. Head on the football. Used sideline as friend . Violent at point of contact. Ran feet through contact. Low man @ckuntz24 https://t.co/7Y4DnYh3Pf

The Department of Player Safety has concluded this is a Clean Hit. The Bull’s main point of contact was the chest, not the head.
While the Bull lifted his forelegs, it kept his hind legs in contact with the ground while driving through this asshole’s chest.
This is a legal hit. https://t.co/dUNp6cHmdl

But as you might expect there are plenty of replies protesting the existence of the sport in the first place. Animal rights activists despise it because it puts the bulls in harm’s way. And that’s to say nothing of the damage it can do to humans.
50 to 100 people are injured on average during an event like that. There have been 15 recorded fatalities in the bull run of Pamplona, Spain since 1910, and more fatalities at other events worldwide.
Suffice it to say, things like this shouldn’t surprise anyone when they actually happen.
