Colin Kaepernick is spending the weekend in Ann Arbor with the Michigan football team.
Jim Harbaugh, Kaepernick’s former coach when the two were with the 49ers, invited Kaepernick to the Wolverines’ spring game on Saturday. He even let the former NFL star get in an on-field workout.
Kaepernick got the opportunity to throw to a few Michigan football players. One Wolverine in particular was blown away by his performance.
Michigan’s Olu Oluwatimi said Kaepernick has a “rocket arm.” That’s pretty impressive for a 34-year-old quarterback.

There’s a wide belief one team is going to give Colin Kaepernick another shot in the NFL. Could a return to the San Francisco 49ers be in the works?
An NFL writer believes San Francisco could be a potential landing spot.
“Colin didn’t fit with what Kyle Shanahan wanted in 2017, but now that he has Trey Lance, and is building an offense around his skill set, I wonder if Karpernick [Kaepernick] would be a good backup for the #49ers,” Marc Adams of 49ers Web Zone tweets.
How fun would that be?
Kaepernick is reportedly open to the idea of being a backup. First, he’ll have to earn his way to a training camp.
Perhaps his “rocket arm” can help him get another crack at being in the NFL.
