Collins started to emerged as a viable scoring option off the bench for the Wolverines during the 2022 NCAA Tournament. He scored 14 in Michigan’s upset win over Colorado State in the 6 vs. 11 matchup. For the season, Collins averaged 11 minutes and 2.8 points per game.
Collins was the seventh-highest rated point guard in the 2021 class, per the 247Sports composite. His decision likely stems from Michigan’s latest transfer addition.
Howard and the Wolverines landed a commitment from Princeton transfer last Friday. He’ll be immediately eligible and is expected to play a big role for the team this upcoming season.
Collins will likely be one of the most sought-after transfers in college basketball this offseason. He’s an explosive, athletic guard oozing with confidence.
It’ll be interesting to see where the former four-star recruit ends up.
