NFL free agency is right around the corner. Tomorrow afternoon, the legal tampering period begins.
If you’re unfamiliar with what the legal tampering period is, it is when agents and teams are first allowed to make contact and discuss potential deals for free agents.
Of course, because there is most assuredly “illegal” tampering going on right now, you will start to hear deals agreed to suspiciously early into the legal window.
The tampering period runs from noon ET on Monday until 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday,
A busy day tomorrow in the NFL, as starting at noon ET and all the way until 4 PM ET on Wednesday, the legal negotiating window is open.
As of now, teams and agents have had absolutely zero dialogue whatsoever about possible deals. pic.twitter.com/MJLnm4S2pD

At 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, the 2022 NFL league year officially begins. This is when teams must be under the salary cap, and trades that have been agreed to (Russell Wilson, Khalil Mack etc.) can officially be announced.
Free agents can also officially begin signing deals from that point forward.
