An NFL head coach is reportedly “pushing hard” to land Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in a trade this offseason.
Rodgers, the MVP of the league, has yet to make a decision on where (or if) he will play during the 2022 season.
It seems likely that Rodgers will either return to Green Bay or retire, but it’s possible the four-time MVP will request a trade.
The Denver Broncos, now coached by former Packers offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, will reportedly push hard for a trade.
USA TODAY reported on Monday that Hackett is telling the Broncos that he plans on pushing hard for Rodgers.
“While the Packers are reportedly going to go all in to retain Aaron Rodgers, a trusted source says that Denver Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett told members of the team he is pushing hard to trade for the defending MVP this offseason,” Brendan Sugrue tweeted.

The Broncos have consistently been mentioned as the most-likely landing spot for Rodgers, if he gets traded.
Denver could have the assets to make a move, though Rodgers has to want to get traded. The Packers are committed to bringing him back and filling up the salary cap to make him happy.
