Washington visits New Orleans
Week 15 of the 2024/25 NFL season opened with a low-scoring NFC West game between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams got the win, and are still in the playoff mix, while the Niners season keeps unraveling. The Washington Commanders are visiting the New Orleans Saints and opened as road favorites. That line opened at -6.5 but quickly went to -7.5 after QB Derek Carr’s injury. The over/under stayed steady at 43.5.
Washington is 8-5 and they’re coming off their bye week. They beat the Tennessee Titans 42-19 before the bye, after losing their previous three games against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Dallas Cowboys.
The Washington Commanders have four games left in the season, and they’re holding on to the 7th seed in the NFL for at least another week. A win today, and a loss by the Green Bay Packers, will move them into the 6th seed.
