NFL Week 8: Early afternoon games open thread

Let’s watch some football!

The Washington Commanders host the Chicago Bears at 4:25 pm. There are a few good games to watch in the early afternoon block. Fox has four games, and the Green Bay Packers vs Jacksonville Jaguars game will be seen in most of the midwest. We get a division game between the Atlanta Falcons and the banged up Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The red-hot Detroit Lions host the Tennessee Titans, and Tua Tagovailoa makes his return from concussion against the Arizona Cardinals.

CBS also has four games on their early afternoon schedule, and they’ve got the only NFC East game on at this time slot. The Philadelphia Eagles are visiting Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Philly is a half game back from the Washington Commanders and they’re trying to keep pace with the best team in the division. The other three games are AFC division matchups.
