NFL Week 9: Late afternoon games open thread

Let’s watch some football!

The Washington Commanders visited the New York Giants earlier today. There are a few good games to watch in the late afternoon block. Fox has two games, and they each involve matchups of division rivals. The game of the week could be the matchup between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers. The NFC North is the best division in the league, and every team is in the hunt for a playoff seeding. The Rams are visiting the Seahawks in Seattle, and they’re looking to keep pace with the Cardinals.

CBS also has two games on their late afternoon schedule, and they have the only NFC East game in this time block. The Jacksonville Jaguars, and former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson are traveling to Philadelphia and he should get a hero’s welcome for being the only coach to have ever won a Super Bowl in Philly. Also, Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears will try to recover from their Hail Mary loss to the Washington Commanders when they visit the Arizona Cardinals.
