This is massive news for the Rams, even if Beckham’s availability next season is a bit limited. Beckham blew out his knee in the Super Bowl and had to have ACL surgery following the Rams Super Bowl victory.
He’s expected to miss all of the preseason and training camp and not be ready to play until November at the earliest.
That said, the NFL world still thinks this was a good move by the Rams.

Smart man
You’re a champion, team still a contender, and you’re living in Los Angeles (perfect for his individual brand)

Good for Odell, he’s happy in LA, no need for him to leave https://t.co/5vSymCSf5b

Beckham was a different player once he joined the Rams this past season. During the regular season, Beckham had 305 yards and five touchdowns off 27 receptions.
In the playoffs, he upped his game to another level with 288 yards and two touchdowns on 21 receptions.
It remains to be seen what a deal for him looks like.
