Patriots free agent cornerback J.C. Jackson is looking to cash out this offseason.
Jackson is reportedly looking to be paid similar to Jalen Ramsey, who’s widely considered the best cornerback in football. Jackson doesn’t want to settle for less, either.

Jackson has been one of the best corners in football the last few seasons, and he reached a new level this season.
He was one of the biggest reasons why the Patriots’ defense was one of the best units in the league. He finished with 58 total tackles (44 solo). and had eight interceptions. Of those eight picks, one was returned to the house.
He also had 23 passes defended, plus one forced fumble.
The NFL world isn’t surprised that Jackson wants to be paid.
Honestly imo he deserves to be paid that https://t.co/yVosLXb8re

Although he’s earned it, I’ll be shocked if the Pats actually pay up. https://t.co/1PVkWc2Izy

Looking for that type of money is one thing, getting it is another. But it could be a starting point for negotiations which could end up around $17-18M per year. If he stick to that $19-20M per year, he won’t come back to the Pats. https://t.co/MzABLWiiWJ

Stop getting wrapped up in these leaked “demands.”
He’s a young, play-making corner who is about to hit the OPEN market. He’s going to get paid. https://t.co/7B3qtycMDi
