On Saturday afternoon, the Miami Dolphins made the surprising decision to trade a wide receiver within the AFC East.
NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport first reported the Dolphins sent wideout DeVante Parker to the New England Patriots. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said the Dolphins are including a 2022 fifth-round pick in the deal so they can receive a 2023 third-round pick in return.
That trade could spell the end of one wide receiver’s tenure with the Patriots. Former first-round pick N’Keal Harry might be on the way out after the team traded for Parker, according to one Patriots insider.
“Not that this is surprising, but have to think this trade means N’Keal Harry’s days are numbered in Foxborough,” Patriots reporter Ben Volin said.

A first round pick in 2019, Harry hasn’t been able to find his footing with the Patriots. In three seasons with the team, he has just 598 receiving yards on 57 receptions – four of which went for a touchdown.
It’s been a disastrous start to his NFL career and Harry might be better off with a new team.
Will Harry be the next wide receiver on the move?
