Longtime football writer Peter King is among the most respected and connected in the business. So when he makes an Aaron Rodgers prediction, just know it’s one of the most educated of guesses.
In King’s latest Football Morning In America column, he speculates that Rodgers would move west of Wisconsin should he ultimately choose to leave Green Bay.

“If Rodgers goes, I still think it’s to an AFC team,” King wrote. “And as I wrote in December, Denver is most likely.”
“The Broncos are most desperate and will pay the Packers a boatload of picks and at least one good player for the 38-year-old QB,” he continued. “And Rodgers would be reunited with his ex-offensive coordinator, new Denver coach Nathaniel Hackett.”
Officially, free agency starts in 10 days. Unofficially, it begins in eight days. Even more unofficially, it’s already happening. So when is Aaron Rodgers going to make his decision? https://t.co/sMAYQAMpCb pic.twitter.com/RlUTjsGWJJ

King’s NBC colleague Mike Florio also reported that if Aaron Rodgers wants out, the Packers have a couple deals already on the burner.
Trade packages with “multiple interested teams” are already lined up according to Pro Football Talk’s leading man. And the Denver Broncos are considered to be one of them.
Rodgers is expected to make a decision in the coming days. The NFL is on hair-trigger waiting for the back-to-back MVP to get the league’s offseason rolling.
