Washington hits the field for the sixth day of training camp
The Washington Commanders are back in Ashburn for the sixth day of training camp practices. Head coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media before practice and announced the backup OL Nate Herbig was retiring for personal reasons. The defensive backs continue impress, with Mike Sainristil, Quan Martin, and Noah Igbinoghene standing out again. Rookie LB Kain Medrano made some plays today in coverage. The connection between Jayden Daniels and Deebo Samuel continues to grow as they make big plays during every practice.

Team had 6th highest rush rate in nfl last year, running is in their DNA
