June Minicamp
The Washington Commanders returned to the practice fields in Ashburn yesterday for the start of minicamp. There are three days scheduled before the team breaks until the end of July for the start of training camp.

Frankie Luvu injury:
LB Frankie Luvu is inside during the Commanders’ minicamp practice today because of a very minor ankle injury, per source. The team is not concerned; this is primarily precautionary.

Quan Martin just made the most spectacular of interceptions.
Under pressure, Daniels lofted a pass to Rodriquez toward the right sideline. Martin jumped the pass, bobbled it and then secured the ball BEHIND HIS BACK WITH TWO HANDS WHILE RUNNING.

Quan Martin just made the play of minicamp (so far).
A rusher came clean off the edge, so Marcus Mariota threw a flare left to Austin Ekeler and Martin jumped it.
Martin tipped the ball with one hand and then corralled it behind his back for the pick.

Punt returner drills:
Jahan Dotson and Emmanuel Forbes spent about 15 minutes today working on punt return drills.
Ball launched in the air, while in the air Dotson/Forbes did a complete spin, tracked the ball and then caught the ball.
