Week 3 of OTAs
The Washington Commanders are back on the practice field in Ashburn, VA. The big news this morning was new owner Josh Harris putting a few million dollars into the practice fields, tearing up a turf field that hasn’t been usable in a long time. A new grass field will replace it, and Dan Quinn said this was another example of the Harris group’s commitment to the players and improveing the franchise.
New kicker Ramiz Ahmed was on the practice field for the first time with his new team. He replaced Brandon McManus who was released on Sunday after a lawsuit was filed by two flight attendants alleging sexual assault on a Jaguars team flight last year. Dan Quinn emphasized before practice that there will competition everywhere on the team, but they are expected to bring in other kickers soon.

This is the closest thing we’ve seen to Daniels facing an NFL pass rush, although it’s still just June. Doesn’t look like Daniels is bothered though. Goes through his progressions, has nice footwork and zips the ball to his targets
