Ranking Aaron Rodgers’ 3 Most Likely Trade Destinations

March 5, 2022 by The Spun

Packers star quarterback Aaron Rodgers

Where is Aaron Rodgers going to play in 2022?

According to a Friday night report from the NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers star quarterback is truly “torn” on where he wants to play.

“Sources say Rodgers is truly torn on where he wants to play in 2022. While many in the NFL expect him to return — there’s lots of positivity in Green Bay — he is going back and forth on what he wants,” Ian Rapoport tweeted.

A trade is possible.

While the Packers have reportedly not engaged with any teams on Rodgers trade talks, a move is possible this offseason.

Where could Rodgers land?

Here are the three most likely trade destinations:

1. Denver Broncos

The Broncos have been mentioned for Rodgers all along. If he’s traded somewhere, Denver has to be the most likely landing spot.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

Rodgers clearly has a lot of respect for Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. Pittsburgh is in need of a longterm answer at the quarterback position, too, with Ben Roethlisberger retiring following the 2021 season.

Pursuing Aaron Rodgers would be out of character for the Steelers. But so are empty seats at Heinz Field. Reeling in Rodgers would instantly reverse a troubling trend in Pittsburgh. https://t.co/ONwdPPaO2d

3. Tennessee Titans

Rodgers was rumored to be building a house in the Nashville area. The Titans have a quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, though Rodgers is obviously an upgrade.
