Washington is aiming to upset the Baltimore Ravens in week six for a fifth straight win
The Washington Commanders and Baltimore Ravens are both seeking to extend their respective winning streaks this Sunday in what should be one of the more electric matchups of the entire NFL season. Cordell Woodland, who covers the Baltimore Ravens for 105.7 The Fan, previewed the Commanders’ week six game on the latest Trap or Dive episode. Woodland said that while many of the Ravens’ players spoke in a neutral or positive tone about the Commanders, Roquan Smith was more outspoken than most.
Smith reveled in the success of the Ravens 15-2 record against rookie quarterbacks. “As a defense, we give things that other teams across the league don’t give,” when asked to speak on the Ravens history against rookie quarterbacks. Smith’s initial statement is fair and valid. Smith continued, “He [Jayden Daniels] hasn’t seen a defense like ours this season, so we just have to come out clicking on all cylinders.” Smith made another fair statement, but could that be considered bulletin board material, similar to comments made by Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt about Washington’s *college offense”?
“The Commanders were a little bit worked up about the fact that they were called a simple offense..
I was told that they were pretty insulted by that whole thing” ~ @AdamSchefter #PMSLive pic.twitter.com/LxM0LvDLPK
