The Washington Commanders racked up 390 total yards of offense in a 28-22 season-opening win over the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday.
Quarterback Carson Wentz completed 27 of 41 passes for 313 yards, with four touchdowns and two interceptions in the win. Wentz’s four touchdowns went to three different wide receivers.
At one point in the game, it appeared Washington would squander an 11-point lead and fall to the upstart Jaguars after a pair of Wentz interceptions in the second half. However, Wentz and the offense outscored the Jags 14-0 in the final quarter to come away with the victory.
Here are the studs and duds from Washington’s season-opening win.
