Saturday was a difficult day for the NFL. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback— and former Washington QB — Dwayne Haskins was killed in Florida after being struck by a vehicle.
The news sent sadness throughout the NFL, from Haskins’ former teammates at Ohio State and Washington to his current teammates in Pittsburgh. Fans and media members from across the country also expressed over Haskins’ tragic death.
One of Haskins’ most prominent teammates from college and the NFL is Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin. The pair spent three seasons together in college and were each drafted to Washington in 2019, spending their first two NFL seasons on the same team.
The two always shared a strong relationship, and on Saturday night, McLaurin posted a heartfelt tribute to his dear friend.
