The No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament has been officially eliminated. On Friday afternoon, Texas A&M defeated Auburn in an absolute thriller.
The Aggies jumped out to a 37-21 lead over the Tigers at halftime, but that lead was cut down to four points with 39 seconds left in the game. Wendell Green Jr. played a huge role in Auburn’s comeback, launching a few deep 3-pointers.
Although this game got tight, Texas A&M never lost its composure. As a result, it’ll be playing in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament this Saturday.

It was an incredible finish from Jackson to say the least.

Jackson finished the game with 17 points, two assists and two blocks.
The Aggies probably need another upset win to feel good about their chances of receiving an invitation to the big dance later this month.
As for the Tigers, they’ll need to go back to the drawing board and figure out what went wrong before the NCAA tournament begins.
The SEC Tournament will continue this Friday with three intriguing matchups.
