The Jacksonville Jaguars have made NFL free agency history this offseason.
According to ESPN, the Jaguars have given out more guaranteed money in free agency than any franchise in history.
“The Jaguars have now spent $175.3M in guaranteed money on free agents this offseason, the most by any team in any single offseason ever,” ESPN’s Field Yates shared.
Always interesting notes from @MikeReiss, including this:

Good luck with that, Jaguars.
“All that for 7 wins,” one fan tweeted.
“This is part of the reason why Byron Leftwich didn’t want Trent Baalke on the ones and twos,” another fan added.
“The Jags signed Christian Kirk for 4 years and SEVENTY-TWO MILLION DOLLARS,” another fan wrote on Twitter.
It’s nothing new for Jacksonville, though.
The song remains the same: since 2012 The Jaguars have spent more than 1.6 billion in free agency. They’ve spent more than anyone… and lost more than anyone https://t.co/Db1nF9Jxz2
