Trades?
The Washington Commanders only have one reported cut so far(WR Davion Davis), and have a lot more to go. They have been very slow to release information on their cuts, but there’s a reason for that. They have been working the phone lines, calling other teams to try to work out some trades for players that aren’t likely to make the roster, or have some kind of value at this point of the NFL year.
Tight End Cole Turner and DT John Ridgeway III are two names that the team is reportedly trying to trade. Both players were considered bubble players that could have gone either way when the initial 53-man roster is set by 4pm today. Ben Standig also reported safeties could be on the trade block. OL Ricky Stromberg is another name to watch for trades.
From my 53 projection article.
TE Cole Turner is another player being made available, per sources. https://t.co/jAMgCECtH1 pic.twitter.com/tAtBYZs94M

Asked sources about Cole Turner’s trade value over the past week. Consensus is not sure one exists. Hasn’t shown much in two seasons and was inconsistent catching this summer. Does have good size and (gulp) catch radius for those into that.

Commanders’ new regime looking to move on from past draft picks. Center Ricky Stromberg also a name to watch. https://t.co/8mbdTS8UH4
