Washington welcomes the newest member of the family, Dominique Hampton, after making him the 161st overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Draft day is finally here and the Commanders have picked Washington safety Dominique Hampton in the 5th round. GM Adam Peters, HC Dan Quinn, and DC Joe Whitt Jr. have been reshaping Washington’s defense, allowing players to leave via free agency, and also signing players from other teams. Safety Kamren Curl wasn’t retained, and now Washington has picked up Dominique Hamilton in the 5th round. Jeremy Chinn was added on a 1-year deal in free agency, and there are several young players in the mix at safety.
