Tom Brady might be “retired,” but it’s clear at this point that he’s not 100 percent committed to his decision.
That doesn’t mean Brady, 44, will play in the NFL again. However, it does mean that no one should be surprised if he does.
While Brady announced his retirement earlier this offseason, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback has left the door open for a return.
On Saturday, Brady attended a Manchester United game. He was asked by Cristiano Ronaldo if he is truly done playing.
“That’s what I don’t know,” Brady appears to say.

The NFL world isn’t hesitating to speculate…
“This dude is not done playing,” one fan tweeted.
“You know… I thought all the noise around a TB12 return was BS but this was undeniable,” another fan added.
“Phase one: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have traded for Deshaun Watson Phase two: the San Francisco 49ers have traded for Tom Brady,” another fan predicted.

Can’t make out the words here but easy to read Tom Brady’s face. That certainly wasn’t a firm no. https://t.co/NX3WWf2V39

There’s one team getting mentioned the most for Brady: the 49ers. Of course, the Buccaneers would have to allow Brady to get out of his contract, or perhaps facilitate a trade.
Bruce Arians has said they won’t be doing that, but it might not be up to the head coach.
