The Washington Commanders found their tight end of the future. On Day 2 of the 2024 NFL draft, the Commanders selected Kansas State tight end Ben Sinnott at No. 53 overall.
Sinnott joins a roster with new starter Zach Ertz, Armani Rogers, John Bates and Cole Turner. Ertz signed a one-year deal in March, while Bates enters the final season of his rookie contract. Rogers, a former undrafted free agent, is coming off an Achilles injury that cost him the 2023 season.
Sinnott is a versatile 6-foot-4, 250-pounder who GM Adam Peters said reminds him of 49ers stars Kyle Juszczyk and George Kittle.
So, what did everyone think of the Commanders’ selection of Sinnott? We took to Twitter to find out.
