Hail Noah is back
The Washington Commanders re-signed another wide receiver today, bringing back Noah Brown for another season. He was released in August last year during roster cutdowns by the Houston Texans, and quickly added on a 1-year by GM Adam Peters. Brown played in 11 games, starting 9 of them before his season ended due to a kidney injury. He had 35 receptions for 453 yards and 1 TD. That touchdown was the Hail Mary from Jayden Daniels that beat the Chicago Bears, a crucial play in Washington’s amazing turnaround season. Brown added size to Washington’s WR corps, and now gets to play with Deebo Samuel on the field. Jayden Daniels gets another one of his weapons back as he goes into his second season, with eyes on improving from his record-setting rookie performance. His 1-year deal is worth up to $4.5 million.

Washington has re-signed WR Noah Brown to a one-year deal worth up to $4.5 million, per @AdamSchefter. It was an expected move — the Commanders liked him and he was coming off a kidney injury. Brown said at season’s end he felt good. He caught 35 passes in 11 games.
