The Washington Commanders fell one win short of reaching the playoffs last season even while playing in the surprisingly competitive NFC East. Even with an 8-8-1 record, Washington still finished last in the division. With second-year QB Sam Howell now the starter after getting in one game last season, the Commanders hope to be a surprise team this season. You can keep up with their efforts all season long with out Washington Commanders odds tracker and check out the latest Commanders betting lines.

With Howell taking over the offense in his second year, expectations outside are low for the Commanders season. But with WR Terry McLaurin coming off a 1,000-yard season and Washington improving the offensive line by adding former Kansas City OT Andrew Wyler as well was ex-Giants G Nick Gates, they will open the season as 6-point favorites against the rebuilding Cardinals on NFL betting apps.
On the moneyline, the Washington Commanders odds are -250 to win the game outright, which pays out at $40 on a $100 bet while the Cardinals are +195 to win. The over/under is a low 38.5 at BetMGM.
Commanders Super Bowl Odds
The road to the Super Bowl is paved with twists and turns throughout the regular season right on through to conference championship Sunday. Teams that are considered long shots at the start of the season rise to the top of the standings by the end of the season to become listed among the favorites. Just two seasons ago the Eagles were a .500 playoff team and went to the Super Bowl in 2022. So, teams that sit near the bottom of the Super Bowl odds chart today might be in the upper tier by Thanksgiving.
So, while Kansas City (+600), Philadelphia (+800) and Buffalo (+900) are the favorites to win the Super Bowl, other teams might rise up the ranks. The Commanders enter the season as considerable long shots at +8000 (which means a $100 bet would return $8,000 in winnings).
Commanders NFC Championship Odds
The NFC East surprisingly turned out to be the best division in the NFL last season with all four teams finishing with at least eight wins, and it was the only division to produce two teams with 12 or more victories (Philadelphia and Dallas). And of the four teams in the NFC East only the Commanders failed to clinch a playoff berth.
The Eagles sat atop the NFC East last season, and it led to the NFC Championship and a berth in the Super Bowl. Philadelphia is a +260 to repeat as NFC champion with Dallas at +650. Washington Commanders odds remain a long shot wager to emerge out of the NFC at +3500.
Other Washington Commanders Futures Odds
The futures market plays the long game. Look at the Commanders odds today and let them play out down the road. Choosing the eventual Super Bowl champion or which team will win the NFC East are examples of the NFL futures market.
But there are plenty of other options on the futures market to bet on the Commanders with NFL odds. Washington is +290 to make the playoffs and -375 to miss the postseason. Find the over/under on any number of wins possible such as 5.5, with the over at -185 and the under at +150. Rookie quarterback Sam Howell is +5000 to lead the league in touchdowns and +10000 to finish as league MVP.
