Tracking the trade rumors
The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 5th at 4pm EST, and the rumors are starting to pick up as teams determine whether they are buyers, sellers, or not in the market. The Washington Commanders are in the first year of their recalibration under new GM Adam Peters and HC Dan Quinn. The fast start was a surprise to many, and it puts the team ahead of schedule, and possibly in the market to improve the team now as they eye the playoffs. Rookie QB Jayden Daniels is having a historic start to his career, and has lifted the team up, and leading them on a fantastic run so far.
Washington’s roster went through massive changes this offseason, as Peters and Quinn jettisoned a lot of Ron Rivera’s players, and started shaping the roster to their vision. Some spots still need work, with CB, WR, EDGE depth possible spots the team is looking at. Dianna Russini reports the team is calling about CB help, but Adam Peters is not expected to be willing to part with high draft picks. Adam Schefter reports that players are calling their agents, telling them want to get traded there. What a time to be alive!
