Washington hits the field for the fourteenth day of training camp
The Washington Commanders traveled to Miami for the fourteenth day of training camp, and they will be practicing with the Dolphins today. Dan Quinn talked about the wide receiver competition again as the battle for WR2, and every other spot on the depth chart, heats up. It was hot in Miami, but there there were only a few “chippy” moments between the two teams. UDFA LB Bo Bauer was carted off the field with a leg injury.

Mike Sainristil vs Tyreek Hill:
Sainristil might already be the best corner on this team, he plays so smart – back to back plays for him, dolphins ran a reverse he stayed home and got a TFL, then Tyreke ran a fake reverse and he stayed home and forced Tua to check down – also had a PBU on Tyreke in the end zone

It’s getting chippy between Dolphins and Commanders. Washington’s Andre Jones Jr. seemed to try to head-butt someone and his helmet came off. This after a dust-up between Liam Eichenberg and Daron Payne. Then we have a big hit from S Tyler Owens on TE Durham Smythe for breakup.

Joint Prax went indoors for final period. It ended with Terry McLaurin slipping on the route and former Commander Kendall Fuller getting the INT and bowing to the Commanders sideline

Context on the two Jayden Daniels’ INTs today:
1) TE Cole Turner got hit from behind after he caught a pass from Daniels. The ball popped up and the Dolphins DB caught it.
2) WR Terry McLaurin slipped and fell. CB Kendall Fuller was there to catch it.
