Injury updates
The Washington Commanders held their final full practice of the week today as they prepare for their home game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Jonathan Allen and Javontae Jean-Baptiste were placed on IR, and Dorance Armstrong was also injured during Sunday’s loss to the Ravens. He will miss his first game of the season with a rib injury. Rookie safety Tyler Owens is the only other player ruled out.
Three players are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game. Brian Robinson Jr. is trending in the right direction to return after missing last week with a knee injury. Dan Quinn said the team will make the decision before the game on his playing status. Defensive end Clelin Ferrell returned last week after missing three games with a knee injury. Rookie LB Jordan Magee had knee surgery and is still waiting to be activated from injured reserve. His 21-day practice window opened on October 11th.
