Injury updates
The Washington Commanders held their second practice of the week today as they prepare for their home game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Jonathan Allen and Javontae Jean-Baptiste were placed on IR, and Dorance Armstrong was also injured during Sunday’s loss to the Ravens. He was at practice today, but didn’t participate due to his rib injury.
Center Tyler Biadasz makes his first appearance on the injury report this season, and was limited today with a thumb injury. Left guard Nick Allegretti was limited again with an ankle injury he’s been playing through. Quan Martin(shoulder) was in a non-contact jersey at today’s practice. Safety Tyler Owens has been dealing with a shin injury for weeks, and improved to limited status today.
Washington’s offense wasn’t the same without RB Brian Robinson Jr last week. He didn’t practice all week before being ruled out with knee injury, but he has been back on the field the last two days. Robinson wants to play this week, and Kliff Kingsbury talked about getting back to a balance offense earlier today. Robinson is a big part of the balance that was missed during the loss to the Ravens.
