The Washington Commanders were on a four-game winning streak, but that ended with a 30-23 loss to the Ravens in Baltimore. Washington was playing catch-up for the majority of the game, and couldn’t stop the Ravens offense led by Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry.
The Commanders open up the week as 7.5-point favorites against the Carolina Panthers. Washington goes back home to Northwest Stadium. The Panthers are 1-5 and benched their “franchise” QB Bryce Young weeks ago. Veteran QB Andy Dalton has been under center, and the results haven’t changed much.
The O/U opens at 51.5, which matches the opening line for the Ravens game. Washington remains the top team in the NFC East, and every team but the Eagles lost, and they barely beat the lowly Browns.
