Home dogs again
The Washington Commanders are coming off of their bye week, and are now preparing for a trip to the west coast to play the Los Angeles Rams. Washington is 4-9, and their season is essentially over. They were blown out in back-to-back weeks by the Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins, will be big underdogs when they return to the field on Sunday afternoon.
The Rams were on a 3-game winning streak until they ran into the Baltimore Ravens. They took one of the top teams in the AFC to overtime tied 31-31, but Baltimore ended the game with a Tylan Wallace punt return touchdown after both teams had a turn at closing it out. The Rams are now 6-7, and currently the 8th seed in the NFC playoff picture. If the Packers somehow find a way to lose the Giants, there will be five teams sitting at 6-7 in the NFC with four games to go in the regular season. The Rams have a lot to play for against a team that is preparing the moving boxes for it’s current coaches and executives.
Washington opens as 6 1⁄2 -point road underdogs against the Rams. The over/under is 48 1/2, which is down 1 point from last week.
DraftKings Sportsbook odds: Washington +6 1⁄2 , 48 1⁄2 O/U
