During this Friday’s edition of SmackDown, Big E suffered a broken neck. The popular wrestler confirmed his diagnosis on Twitter.
“I can’t thank all of you beautiful people enough for all of your concern and messages,” Big E said in a video. “It’s very heartwarming. I can move all my digits. See that? That’s always a good thing. But unfortunately, right now, they tell me my neck is broken. So there’s that. But once again, thank you. I’m gonna be all right. I’ll be good. Don’t worry. Go to sleep. Don’t worry about old me. But for real, thank you. I appreciate all of you.”
Big E suffered this injury after landing on top of his head during a match against Ridge Holland. As you’d expect, he needed to be removed from Legacy Arena on a stretcher.
In the video that Big E posted on Twitter, he was seen wearing a neck brace. Although this must be a tough injury for the former WWE champion, he claims he feels fine.

Big E has been quite successful as a pro wrestler, capturing the WWE championship and Intercontinental championship. He was also a tag-team champion with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
