Alabama’s offense just got even more explosive. On Friday, Louisville transfer Tyler Harrell announced that he’s taking his talents to Tuscaloosa.
Harrell unveiled his decision on Twitter.
During the 2021 season, Harrell had 18 catches for 523 yards and six touchdowns. His playmaking ability is something Nick Saban will appreciate.
Earlier this week, Harrell spoke to BamaOnLine about his visit with Alabama. The Florida native believes he’ll get along very well with Alabama quarterback Bryce Young.
“Just with the quarterback, with Bryce Young,” Harrell told BamaOnLine. “I just feel like with his arm and his capability of throwing the ball, I feel like our chemistry would be fine with the speed I have and the capability I have as well. I feel like we could go a long way with it.”

The Crimson Tide can use another deep threat at wide receiver since they lost John Metchie III and Jameson Williams to the NFL.
It’ll be interesting to see how long it takes for Harrell to get acclimated with Alabama’s system.
