Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris has the potential to be a star for years to come. In fact, most NFL fans are expecting big things from the Alabama product in his rookie season.
Since he’s entering a new chapter of his life, Harris went out to receive some financial advice from one of the most polarizing players in recent NFL history.
During an interview with Bleacher Report this week, Harris revealed that he spoke to Marshawn Lynch about how to handle his money. Though it shouldn’t surprise us, Lynch had a great one-liner when speaking to Harris.
“Marshawn always tells me ‘if you can’t buy it twice, then don’t buy it at all,’” Harris said, via Bleacher Report. “He always tells me how important it is to save your money and don’t lose focus on the most important thing and that’s what you do on the field because that’s what brings you a lot of marketing deals. So never lose focus on where the real money is coming from, that’s what you do on the field.”

Not only did Lynch help Harris with the financial side of things, he gave the rookie some advice on how to have a long career.
“The most important thing they always keep preaching to me is make sure you’re taking care of your body because you’re going to have a big workload,” Harris told Bleacher Report.
Harris will make his regular season debut this Sunday. He’ll most likely have a large workload this season since he’s easily the best running back on the Steelers’ 53-man roster.
